After successfully installing new piping infrastructure as part of a year long, $3 million well-connecting project, City crews are now “flushing” the system to get water back into the affected water mains.
Residents west of Central Street and north of 15th Avenue may notice that they have low water pressure or even no water during this time.
If you notice this in your home, turn on the taps until water flows normally again. If the water runs dark or cloudy, keep the taps open until it runs clear.
The City’s watering ban remains in effect until midnight.
