School District 57 has awarded some bright young minds with bursaries across local secondary institutions.
The Springboard to Success Endowment program gives graduates scholarships every year, recognizing their skills, efforts, and GPA results.
This year, a total of $17,000 was handed out to 10 students from College Heights Secondary, Duchess Park Secondary, Prince George Secondary, and Mackenzie Secondary schools.
The endowment was created in 2000, with more than $145,000 in bursaries invested to young people.
A College Heights student was also the recipient of SD57’s Prince of Wales Scholarship, the top honour from the district.
