Evacuee service referrals extended, City starting renewal process

Nearly 8,100 wildfire evacuees have now settled into Prince George, with 700 of them lodging in the College of New Caledonia (CNC), or the Northern Sport Centre.

For most of those who came in the early stages of evacuation, referrals such as groceries and accommodation are about to expire.

As a result, the City has extended services to July 30th, but people can begin to apply for renewal in the coming days.

No extension of referral forms is required they’ve been completed automatically.
