NBA:

Toronto Raptors  105  Golden State Warriors  92

The Raptors lead the NBA finals 3-1 after winning both games in Oakland.

Toronto is one win away from its first championship in the team’s 24-year history.

The Raptors, down four at the half, turned the game around by outscoring the Warriors 37-21 in the third quarter.

Kawhi Leonard scored 17 of his 36 points in the third quarter.

Leonard added a team-high 12 rebounds.

Game five will be held in Toronto Monday night (6 PM PT).

The NBA has handed Golden State Warriors executive Mark Stevens a one-year ban and $500,000 fine.

Stevens shoved Kyle Lowry of the Raptors during the fourth quarter of Game 3.

 

NHL:

The Stanley Cup could be handed out this weekend.

The St. Louis Blues are on the verge of their first Cup.

The Blues, up 3-2, host the Boston Bruins Sunday night (5:00 PT).

Should the Bruins win, a 7th and deciding game would be played Wednesday in Boston.

The Blues are just 6-6 at home in the playoffs compared to 9-3 on the road.

The Bruins are 7-3 on the road and 7-5 at home.

FRENCH OPEN:

Rafael Nadal whipped Roger Federer in straight sets to advance to the men’s final on Sunday at the French Open.

Nadal, the 11-time French champ, is 6-0 against the 37-year-old Federer at Roland Garros.
In the other semi, #4 Dominic Thiem upset top-seeded  Novak Djokovic in five sets.
The women’s French title was won by #8 Ashleigh Barty.
