The deadline for two City of Prince George grants is fast approaching.
The MyPG Social Development Fund and the 100th Anniversary Committee are doling out funds for people to take advantage of.
Community Coordinator Doug Hofstede says the MyPG grants are to help make Prince George a better city.
“And we have three areas of focus,” says Hofstede, “civic pride, the second is cultural richness, and the last is safe environment, so we encourage groups that help work towards those kinds of goals, to apply for the myPG social development grant.”
He says the 100th Anniversary grants are to encourage groups to celebrate and commemorate the city’s centennial.
Hofstede says the deadline to apply is this Friday and applications can be found on the city’s website.
