Spruce Kings wash away the Rivermen

Kolton Cousins isn’t a huge scorer by trade but on Saturday it was his turn to enjoy some offensive glory.

His four point performance, which included a hat-trick paced the Prince George Spruce Kings to a 6-3 win over the Langley Rivermen in front of 803 fans at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

Prince George never trailed in the game as they were tied 1-1 after the first period and enjoyed a 3-2 advantage after 40 minutes.

Corey Cunningham and Ryan McAllister lit the lamp in the middle frame for the Spruce Kings.
