26th year of Prince George tradition continues as Festival of Trees gains traction

The Prince George Festival of Trees is now in full swing.

While there are a few new activities this year, the event will mostly be “business as usual”, according to spokesperson Shirli Gene Sadowick.

In an interview with MyPGNow.com, Sadowick further explained:

“Nearly all of our events are sold out… but inside the Festival of Trees, we do have lots of activities going on. It’s a really great way to get ready for Christmas. You get home and want to get ready for the holidays.”

The event, which is now in its 26th year, will run for ten days at the Prince George Civic Centre.

The final day of the festivities will be on December 1st.
