Prince George Fire Crews responded to a two-vehicle incident that resulted in a fuel spill at a business near the BCR site.
It happened just after 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Local Fire Chief John Iverson recently spoke with MyPGNow.com about the incident.
“It was a fairly slow speed collision between two trucks, which resulted in a hydrocarbon fuel gasoline fuel spill. Our job was to go and ensure that the scene was safe as we deal with fuel spills on a fairly regular basis.”
“There was significant damage to one of the units and in a case like this we cordoned off the area to make sure that nobody walks into or drives into a hazardous situation.”
The site was eventually turned back over to the business owner.
The matter is not under investigation at this time.
