Spruce Kings lose to Langley in OT

The Langley Rivermen scored on the power play at 2:20 of overtime to edge the Prince George Spruce Kings 4-3 in a playoff preview. The Spruce Kings erased a 3-1 deficit in the third period to pick up a point. The two teams will meet in the opening round with home ice advantage still to be decided. Langley is second in the BCHL Mainland Division three points ahead of Prince George. The (28-2-1-4) Rivermen have three games left including a pair at the PG Coliseum Feb 27 and 28. The (26-22-0-6) Spruce Kings, with four games to go, continue on the road Friday in Surrey and Sunday in Chilliwack.
