Prince George Fire Crews were called to 8474 Bunce Road last night (Sunday) just after 9:00 to deal with a fire resulting in $25,000 worth of damage.
First arriving crews found a home with smoke and flames coming from the roof of the building.
The home suffered fire damage to the kitchen and adjacent roof area as well as smoke damage throughout.
The homeowner suffered from smoke inhalation and was treated by BC Ambulance paramedics on scene.

There were no reported injuries to fire crews.
Assistant Chief Dan Pears would like to remind the public to not leave cooking unattended at any time.
