Cariboo Cougar alumni Myles Mattila earns another off-ice accolade

A former Quesnel hockey player has received a $500 bursary from the Kootenay International Hockey League.

Myles Mattila played three seasons with the Kelowna Chiefs after suiting up for the Cariboo Cougars.

However, he is probably most well known for his mental health initiatives including the MindRight for Athletes Society.

Mattila graduated high school from Prince George Secondary in 2017.

He plans to pursue a master’s degree in Business Administration.
