Update at 1:30 p.m. from the RCMP:
The Prince George RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on the 3800 block of Austin Road in Prince George this morning (Wednesday) at 11:15.
Frontline officers and other emergency services attended the scene and found an adult male suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
He was transported to hospital for treatment.
The adult driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is co-operating with police. Alcohol or other drugs are not believed to be a factor.
Although the investigation is continuing, it appears that the man may have stepped out from a parked vehicle as the other vehicle was being driven by.
Update at 12:20 p.m.
Traffic is back to normal in the area.

Traffic is currently blocked in both directions.
