NBA:
–The NBA Eastern final between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics is back on the court tonight (just after 4:00 PT) in the Orlando bubble. The Heat won the opener 117-114 in overtime.
–The Denver Nuggets and LA Lakers open the NBA Western final Friday night (just after 6:00).
–Pascal Siakam of the Toronto Raptors and former Raptor Kawhi Leonard have both been named to the All-NBA second team.
US Open Golf:
–It is day one of the 120th U.S. Open at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York. Gary Woodland is the defending champion. The all-Canadian grouping includes Mackenzie Hughes, Corey Conners and Adam Hadwin.

MLB:
–The New York Yankees banged out seven homers and they extended their win streak to seven games after pounding the Toronto Blue Jays 13-2. The (28-21) Yanks have outscored the (26-22) Jays 33-8 in two meetings this week. The two teams play again tonight (4:05) at Yankee Stadium.
NFL:
–The second week of the NFL season kicks off tonight (at 5:20) with Cincinnati at Cleveland. Both the Bengals and the Browns are 0-1.
