An incident on Pulpmill road has claimed the life of one person.
Prince George RCMP responded to a collision between a car and tractor-trailer last night (Monday) around 7:40, after receiving reports of a possible impaired driver.
The collision occurred on the intersection of Northwood Pulpmill Road and Noranda Road, where police found the car on fire.
The driver of the car was found dead on scene, while the driver of the tractor-trailer was unharmed.
Witness accounts and evidence indicate that the driver of the vehicle was at fault.
The BC Coroners Service is now investigating to determine the identity of the body and the cause of death.
