After running for the BC Greens in the 2019 Federal Election, Mackenzie Kerr has been selected as the candidate for Prince George – Valemount for the upcoming election.
Kerr confirmed the news on her social media yesterday (Saturday).
The UNBC student will be running against Libertarian candidate Sean Robson and incumbent Liberal MLA Shirley Bond, who is seeking a sixth term.
She ran federally in the Cariboo-Prince George riding last October, finishing fourth overall.
The NDP has yet to announce their candidate for the riding
Advanced polls open on October 16, and election day is October 24.
