BC Resources Coalition to hold panel on natural gas development

The British Columbia Resources Coalition will be hosting a live panel discussion tomorrow (Tuesday) on the future of the development of natural gas in the province.

The discussion will include leaders from across the northern region, including Prince George Mayor Lyn Hall and local Liberal candidates Mike Morris and Shirley Bond.

“Coastal GasLink and LNG Canada are a major first step in this development, but a significant opportunity will be lost to extract further value from this growing resource if we don’t start the dialogue regarding these opportunities within our communities,” says the Coalition in a release.

“We are anticipating this panel discussion will serve as a basis for developing a strategy to this new route to economic diversification and growth in the north.”
