Trench Brewing has released its newest beer and will be donating a portion of the sales to the Prince George Humane Society.
“This year with the non profit not having access to traditional fundraising, we were excited to give an alternative,” explained Bailey Hoefels Co-owner and Director of Trench.
One dollar from every 4-pack purchased will go towards the PG Humane Society or 50 cents from every pint sold at the brewery.
“There should be a substantial amount donated,” noted Hoefels, “it is quite a big batch of beer and at the end of the day if it is successful it might be something we can do again in the future,” she added.
The ‘Prince George Humane Society’ beer is an ESB (Extra Special Bitter) with a 5.3% ABV.
“It is a traditional English ale with smooth malt and bitter characteristics,” explained Hoefels.
Because Trench is only making one batch, it is only available for a limited time, however, Â Hoefels believes it will be available for another week or so.
The beer is available at Trench and a number of local liquor stores.
