Suspicious person approaches child near elementary school in Prince George

Prince George RCMP received a report of what they refer to as a suspicious event near 17th Avenue and Hemlock Street this morning (Wednesday) just after 8:00.

“There was a report from a student that was walking to their elementary school, they were approached by a driver in a car who offered them some food and the student continued on to school and reported it to the principal,” said Jennifer Cooper, PG RCMP.

The driver allegedly got out of the vehicle and spoke further with the youth who then left the area.
