–The Canucks play their next four games against the Flames starting tonight at 7:00 in Vancouver. The two teams also meet Saturday and Monday in Vancouver and Wednesday in Calgary. The (6-10) Canucks are a point behind the (6-5-1) Flames but Calgary has four games in hand. Vancouver is 0-2 this season against Calgary. The Canucks have given up a league-high 63 goals in 16 games.
This stretch of games against the Flames will be season-defining for the Canucks.
