Planned power outage scheduled for Prince George

BC Hydro’s work on the Isle Pierre substation will cause a planned power outage for Prince George on April 28th.

Lasting for around 8 hours, the outage is said to impact around 375 customers in the community.

However, Vanderhoof and areas within Bednesti Lake may also be affected during this time.

There is also an outage planned for April 27th from 9:30 am until 10:30 am, however it is only said to impact 5 customers.

This comes as BC Hydro will be conducting work in the area, impacting some buildings around 8th Ave and Victoria Street.
