–There are four Stanley Cup playoff games tonight: Winnipeg at Edmonton (6:00), St. Louis at Colorado (7:30),  Nashville at Carolina (5:00), and Washington at Boston (3:30).

Regular Season

Vancouver  4  Calgary  2
(Thatcher Demko made 38 saves for the (23-28-4) Canucks who finally conclude their season with another game against the Flames, this afternoon at 12:30 in Calgary. Vancouver can escape the North Division basement with a win as they are just a point behind Ottawa)

Detroit Tigers pitcher Spencer Turnbull tossed a no-hitter, the 5th this year in the Majors. Turnbull threw 117 pitches, including 77 strikes and he walked two in the Tigers 5-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners.

Toronto Blue Jays  8  Boston Red Sox  0
(The Jays have won three straight and six of their last seven. Toronto is 23-17 after 40 games and will host Boston again tonight and Thursday)

(The Celtics advance to the playoffs as the 7th seed and they will face Brooklyn in the first-round starting Saturday. The Wizards will play Indiana in Washington Thursday night for the 8th and final postseason spot)

(The loss eliminated the Hornets)

The NBA Western Conference play-in games will take to the court tonight: San Antonio at Memphis (4:30) followed by Golden State at LA Lakers (7:00).  The winner between the Lakers and Warriors will advance to the conference quarterfinals against the Phoenix Suns.
