The BC Hydro Site C project in Northeast BC has had 92 cases of COVID-19 since the outbreak was declared back on August 16th.
Health Officers said most of the virus’s activity has been amongst unvaccinated workers.
There are only two active cases at the moment, and no new cases have been identified since September 15th.
Enhanced infection control measures are still in place, and the onsite medical clinic has been using rapid testing even on asymptomatic workers to try and stop transmission.
Nearly 2,000 workers have received their first dose of a vaccine, and 1,500 workers are fully inoculated through the medical clinic.
