A local First Nations leader isn’t holding out much hope recommendations made this week by a U-N Human rights Envoy will be acted upon.
The report says urgent action is needed to address the ongoing housing crisis both on and off the reserve and also called for a national inquiry into missing and murdered Aboriginal women.
