The new Save-On-Foods location at the Pine Centre Mall will be opening a little later than expected.
A company spokesperson confirmed to MyPGNow.com that the storefront will open in 2023.
In February of 2021, Save-On-Foods stated they would be moving out of their Parkwood Place location and into the space vacated by Lowe’s.
Lowe’s closed up shop in February of 2020 impacting the employment of 110 workers.
The Pine Centre Mall has not had a major grocery store on its grounds since Extra Foods, which closed its PG operations over 15 years ago.
