The Prince George Cougars finished their pre-season in the win column, ending their exhibition play 3-1.
Chase Wheatcroft scored a pair of goals in the win.
The Cougars will open their regular season at home on Friday against the Tri-City Americans.

A three-goal first period by the Silverbacks proved to be too much for the Spruce Kings to overcome.
The Cougars will open their regular season on the road in Port Coquitlam on Friday.

Young had his first start of his MLB career in the Designated Hitter spot.

BC Lions 31 Calgary Stampeders 29 OT
The Lions struck first in overtime on an 18 yard touchdown rush from James Butler, while Antonio Pipkin rushed in the 2-point conversion.
Calgary would match the touchdown with a touchdown pass from Jake Maier to Jalen Philpot, but couldn’t match the 2-point conversion.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats 43 Winnipeg Blue Bombers 31
Dane Evans threw for 327 yards and five touchdowns en route to the Tiger Cats win.
