Grace Northrop of the Hart Judo Academy has earned her First Degree Black Belt following a test in Richmond.
The 16-year-old Northrop has had a successful year as she captured a pair of bronze medals (one each in U18 and U21) at the Canadian Championships last month in Quebec.

–Caroline Kinnee placed 3rd in Double Mini Trampoline for the best Prince George result at the Western Canada Cup Trampoline and Tumbling competition in Port Moody. A total of 7 PG athletes participated.

–The top two teams in Prince George Senior Lacrosse meet tonight (Wednesday) at 8. The 10-0 Westwood Pub Devils face the 8-2 BX Pub Bandits at Kin 1 in the second last regular season game for each team.

–The first Hit to Pass of the season is scheduled for Saturday night at PGARA. The Hit to Pass Main Event Day
includes the Hornet main, Chieftain Auto Parts Mini Stocks, Canadian Tire Street Stocks and Hit to Pass 150 lap main.

–Motocross races will be featured Saturday and Sunday. Racing goes at the Blackwater Track–23 KM’s down the Blackwater road heading towards Baldy Hughes (past the West Lake turn off).
