The City of Prince George is partnering with Job’s Daughters to recycle Christmas trees this year.
On January 7th and 8th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., PG residents are encouraged to drop off natural Christmas trees with all decorations and tinsel removed at the CN Centre Parking lot.
At the end of the two-day event, the City’s parks division will chip the trees into mulch and reuse them in the spring.
There’s no cost to drop off trees, but donations to Job’s Daughters are appreciated.
