WHL:

The Prince George Cougars are on home ice tonight (Tuesday) and Wednesday as they entertain the Seattle Thunderbirds.

The Thunderbirds lead the best-of-7 series 2-0, and they sit a perfect 6-0 in the playoffs.

The power play has been one of the reasons that Seattle is ahead.

They are 4-for-7 with the man advantage while P.G. is just 1-for-10.

Thunderbirds forward Brad Lambert has seven points (1 goal, 6 assists) in the series.

The Cougars will be without their top playmaker as Riley Heidt will serve a one-game suspension for a checking to the head major he received in Game 2.

Well in excess of 4,000 tickets have been sold for these two midweek games at CN Centre.

Mitch Love of Quesnel is the American Hockey League’s Coach of the Year for the second straight year.

Love guided the Calgary Wranglers, the Calgary Flames’ top farm club, to a league-best
