Drive BC is reporting the highway has reopened to single-lane alternating traffic.

The Prince George RCMP say Highway 97 has been closed in both directions approximately three kilometres north of Bear Lake due to a two-vehicle motor vehicle incident.
Police were advised of the incident at around 1:22 this afternoon. (Wednesday)
“The highway will remain clsoed for an extended period of time as emergency crews are working,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
“Currently there are no detours available and motorists are asked to check with Drive BC for updates before using the highway this afternoon.”
Police say updates will be provided as they become available.
