“He is a natural leader who plays a hard and skilled style of
hockey. He has excelled at every level and his performance at the recent Hockey Alberta U16
Top 80 summer camp was very strong. We are thrilled to welcome Patrick and the Sopiarz family
to the Cougars.”

In addition, Sopiarz played on the same club as Kayden Lemire who was also drafted by the Cats this spring.
