The male and female Timberwolves both opened their seasonsĀ with 4-0 losses at home last night.
The men fell to UBC while the women lost to Trinity Western.
The men will get another shot at UBC on Sunday morning at 11:00, the women’s next game is right after at 1:30 against UFV.
Both will be played at Masich Place Stadium.
BC Football Conference
The 1-2 Prince George Kodiaks are looking to get back to .500 on the season tonight in their first road game of the year.
They play the 0-4 Vancouver Island Raiders at 5:30 this afternoon.
CFL
The BC Lions host the Hamilton Tiger Cats at 4:00 this afternoon.
The Lions are 7-3 this season, second in the West, while Hamilton is 3-6, third in the East.
A win would bring the Lions back within a game of first place in the division after Winnipeg (9-2) handily beat the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday, 47-17.
NFL
It is week 4 of NFL preseason, all 16 teams get one last mean-nothing game before the season starts September 7th.
MLB
The Toronto Blue Jays are looking to snap a 3 game losing streak against the Cleveland Guardians this afternoon as the season begins to draw to an end.
The Jays lost to Cleveland 5-2 yesterday.
