The BC Coroner’s Service has identified the man who died after an altercation with the Dawson Creek police.
The victim is 48-year old James Daniel Mcintyre of Dawson Creek.
He was fatally shot by the RCMP on July 16th outside the Fixx Urban Grill Restaurant.
Mcintyre was taken to hospital but passed away on arrival.
The coroner’s office continue to investigate his death.
