What do pet supplies, food, and warm clothing all have in common?
The Northern Regional Construction Association (NRCA) is collecting all three (as well as cash) for their ‘Fill the Fleet’ donation drive.
The donations will support Carrier Sekani Family Services, the Salvation Army, and the PG Humane Society.
Donations have been accepted at the NRCA Office at 3851 18th Ave all week, but the main Fill the Fleet event and push happens on Saturday (November 18) between 11:00 and 2:00.
“This ‘Fill the Fleet’ event is a testament to the generosity and compassion of our community,” Nicole Bryant, CEO of the NRCA, said in a release. “We are excited to facilitate this opportunity for individuals to come together and make a tangible, positive impact on the lives of those who may need support during this season.”
Local construction companies will be on site with heavy equipment on Saturday as well, including Local Rental Solutions, Datoff Construction, and the CAT Rental Store.
