Anyone who bought a natural Christmas tree this season will be given the option to recycle it back into local parks.
The City of Prince George and Job’s Daughters are teaming up to collect this season’s natural Christmas trees in early January.
According to the city, residents can drop their trees off on January 6th and 7th between 10:00 and 4:00 at the CN Centre parking lot.
The trees need to be stripped of decorations.

Once the two-day collection drive is complete, crews will mulch the trees and reuse the material in parks.
Donations towards Job’s Daughters will be accepted, but are not required to leave a tree.
