Pirate Pak Day sets new record

WhiteSpot’s Pirate Pak Day in Prince George was a smashing success.

Vice President of Marketing, Cathy Tostenson says no shortage of Pirate Pak’s were sold in PG as well as the province.

“Overall we raised just over 92 thousand and out of Prince George we sold 584 Pirate Pak’s which is fantastic and the numbers continue to build every year.”

The Prince George chain raised just over 12 hundred dollars and since 2008 the fundraiser has generated 440 thousand dollars toward the Zajac Ranch in Mission.

The amount raised will give 60 children and young adults with disabilities a chance to attend camp.

A total of 46,179 Pirate Pak’s were sold in all restaurants in BC and Alberta during the one day event which is a new record.

584 of them were sold right here in Prince George.
