PG building permits values continued strong pace in February

After a strong start in January, building permit numbers continued to soar in February.

According to a report going before Prince George City Council at tomorrow’s (Monday) meeting, the City issued 44 building permits worth a combined total of $22.8 million.

Once again, housing led the way for building permits last month.

This included two permits for new multi-family dwellings worth a combined total of $14 million, and six new permits for duplexes worth a combined $1.8 million.

Additionally, five permits were issued for new single family dwellings, worth a combined total of $3.2 million.

There were also five permits for new industrial buildings worth a combined $2.3 million.

So far this year (as of the end of February), the City has issued a total of 72 permits worth a combined $35.5 million.
