Hart Home Essentials ceasing operations

A staple in the Hart Community is closing its doors.

According to a Facebook post, Hart Homeland Essentials is wrapping up operations in the next few months due to circumstances beyond its control.

Owner/Manager, Cheryl Olm told MyPGNow.com it was tough to break the news.

“There have been lots of tears and hugs between staff and customers. There have been lots of hugs and lots of people coming in that are shocked and saddened. We are doing our best.”

“Our customers mean the world to us and they are everything to us. Their loyalty, kind words and, support over the years has meant more to us than they can ever imagine.”

Hart Homeland Essentials first opened as a dollar store in 2010 before expanding operations due to customer demand, moving into Austin Road West storefront two years later (2012).

The store is currently fully stocked with more products in the warehouse, so a blowout sale is taking place.

Last month, D’Lanos Family Restaurant announced its plan to close at the end of May after 44 years in business.
