Kelowna Rockets  2  Prince George Cougars  1

The Cougars 7-game playoff win streak and 16-game overall win streak came to an end.

Prince George still leads the best-of-seven second-round series 3-1 with Game 5 Friday night at 7:00 at CN Centre.

Tickets for Game 5 sold out on-line just several hours after the game ended and there were 350 tickets that were available when the Box Office opened this morning (just before 11:00 Thursday).

The Rockets scored twice, four minutes apart in the 2nd period on Ty Young, before 3,852 fans in Kelowna.

Captain Hudson Thornton got the P.G. goal at 16:37 of the 3rd.

Kelowna outshot Prince George 29-27.

The Stars clinch top spot in the Western Conference

The (50-22-9) Vancouver Canucks conclude their regular season tonight (Thursday 5:00) in Winnipeg against the (51-24-6) Jets. It is one of six Thursday games in the NHL. The Jets have won seven straight. Vancouver has clinched top spot in the Pacific Division. The Canucks will play Nashville in the first round of the playoffs beginning Sunday in Vancouver.
