Active living market returning to Prince George

For the first time since 2020, the City of Prince George will be hosting an active living market.

The market will take place a week from tomorrow on Saturday, May 4th at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park.

According to the city, “The Active Living Market in the Park provides a one-stop-shop opportunity to explore a wide variety of activities, programs, and events within Prince George. Attendees can connect with a diverse range of businesses and organizations to find the right fit for their lifestyle.”

Around 30 booths and vendors are registered for the event.

“Many of our user groups have eagerly awaited the return of the market, emphasizing its beneficial impact on their organizations. We’re thrilled to make this a reality this year and hope it continues to grow,” Mayor Simon Yu said. “Not only will attendees have the opportunity to explore recreation offerings, but there will also be food trucks available, making it an ideal occasion to enjoy lunch and picnic at the park.”
