Weekend search to be held for Dawson Creek youth who went missing in 2016

The family of a missing Dawson Creek boy who was last seen eight years ago will be organizing a search on Sunday.

According to Missing People Canada, Denny Poole, who was 14 at the time, attempted to walk with a friend from Dawson Creek to Fort John. However, the pair got separated while travelling along the Old Alaska Highway in March of 2016.

The search will be conducted in the Kiskatinaw Bridge area, the same vicinity from where Renee Didier was discovered deceased last month.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing
