With no vaping by-law in place, School District 57 in Prince George has the ability to discipline students who vape on campus.
Superintendent , Brian Pepper explains how the situation would be handled with a student.
“A warning or an in-school suspension with a letter home and then it would progress if the problem continued, students are told this earlier in the year as smoking is quite an issue.”
Vaping is classified as smoking under the district’s current policies.
