It was the Danielle Fauteux show today (Sun) as the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack blanked the UNBC Timberwolves 3-0 in women’s soccer action.
Fauteux scored a pair goals to put the visitors up 2-0 at half-time with goals in the 16th and 45th minute.
Taylor Miller tallied in the 84th minute to increase the lead.
Sydney Hall had a chance to break the shutout with a penalty kick but was stopped by goalkeeper Taylor Shantz.
The Lady Timberwolves are on the road next weekend with games against the University of Victoria and UBC Thunderbirds.

On the men’s side, the Timberwolves dropped to 0-2 following a 5-3 loss in Victoria last night (Sat).
UNBC was up 2-1 at the half thanks to a pair of goals from Francesco Bartolillo and Matt Jubinvlle.
Craig Gorman had the lone goal for the Vikes in the first half.
The floodgates opened late in the game after the Timberwolves went up 3-1 when Jubinville scored his second of the game in the 62nd minute.
University of Victoria scored three goals in five minutes courtesy of Sam Prette, Gareth Langdon and Keevan Webb.
The Vikes iced the game in the 75th minute after a goal by Dominic Colantonio.
The Timberwolves are on the road next weekend with a pair of games in Kelowna against UBCO.
