CNC along with TransCanada launched safety week today at it’s Prince George campus.
Safety week will run from September 19th to the 27th and Dale O’Dwyer with TransCanada says the event is the first step in hiring more employees.
“TransCanada is sponsoring safety week which is a great opportunity for us so we can have skilled workers meet the safety requirements for our projects in Northern BC.”
CNC will be offering free safety training courses in Burns Lake, Prince George, Fort Saint James, Mackenzie and Vanderhoof.
Courses include Rigging and Lifting, Hazard Identification, Assessment and Communication, First Aid Level 1, WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
