Cougars crush Oil Kings to extend home win streak

The Prince George Cougars scored three times on the power play and added another shorthanded in a 6-1 triumph over the Edmonton Oil Kings before 2,662 fans at CN Centre.

The Cougars swept the doubleheader against the Oil Kings and extended their home win streak to five.

Jesse Gabrielle tallied twice, including his league high 5th shorthanded marker, and added an assist.

Brad Morrison notched a goal and two assists as six different Cats had multi point nights.

Nick McBride stopped 27 shots in his first start in a P.G. uniform.

The 10-7-1 Cougars play their third game on the weekend tonight (Sunday) in Kamloops.
