Despite the lopsided loss, the Cougars still went 2-1 on the weekend as they beat the Edmonton Oil Kings 4-2 Friday and 6-1 Saturday to extend their home winning streak to five.

The 10-8-1 Cougars are 3rd in the B.C. Division, two points ahead of the 9-8-1 Blazers.

Prince George will play its next three games in Alberta: Wednesday in Calgary, Friday in Lethbridge and Saturday in Medicine Hat.

The Cougars host Kamloops November 27th and 28th.
