The head coach of the Canadian national women’s soccer team, John Herdman, will be making an appearance in Prince George next year.
Herdman will be the keynote speaker for the second annual UNBC Timberwolves Legacy Breakfast on March 15, 2016, at the Northern Sport Centre.
The breakfast is a major fundraiser in support of scholarships and bursaries for UNBC student athletes.
Last year, the event raised more than $40,000.

Herdman has coached the Canadian team to a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England and to a quarter-final berth at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Toronto.
Tickets for the Legacy Breakfast cost $75 each.
