There are three finalists in the running for the NHL’s Jack Adams Trophy, which is handed out to the coach of the year.
Making the shortlist was longtime Tampa Bay Lightning bench boss and Prince George product Jon Cooper.
A two-time finalist previously, the 58-year-old has never won the award.
Cooper led the Bolts to a ninth-straight postseason appearance this season.

He has won two Stanley Cups with the Lightning and is in his 14th season with the team.
Tampa currently trails the Montreal Canadians 3-2 in its best-of-seven first round matchup.
Game 6 goes tonight (Friday) in Montreal.
The other finalists include Lindy Ruff of the Buffalo Sabres and Dan Muse of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The winner will be announced at the NHL Awards later this spring.
