Sunflowers and Storytimes: PG Public Library’s popular green space opens for the season

The spring season at the Prince George Public Library’s downtown location is about to reach full bloom.

Their seasonal Knowledge Garden is open for the season.

The outdoor community space offers visitors a place to read, learn, connect, and enjoy the warmer months in a peaceful and inspiring setting.

Designed as an extension of the library experience, the garden supports wellness, creativity, literacy, and community engagement for patrons.

The space will host a variety of programming opportunities, including Storytime Under the Stars, Exploring the Knowledge Garden, Bicycle Repair Café, and Knit in
Public Day.

The Knowledge Garden, located next to the Bob Harkins Branch downtown, is open until October (weather permitting), Monday to Saturday from 10:15am and closes approximately 30 mins before the library closes.
