An underwater recovery team has been called in by the Prince George RCMP.

A search of the Hudson Bay slough was conducted today (Thursday) as a follow-up to items found at that location connected to the Kira Hammerstrom investigation.

She was reported missing last week by police after being last seen on Upland Street during the evening of May 13th.

Updated photos were issued by Mounties earlier this week and can be found at MyPGNow.com.

Officers are also searching for a wooded area near Upland Street.
