PG RCMP looking to return tools to owners recovered from investigation

The Prince George RCMP are looking to reunite several tools to their owners, after being recovered during an unrelated investigation.

Police say the tools were seized after executing a search warrant at a residence on Townsite Road.

If you believe any of the tools are with the RCMP, they ask you to speak with an officer at the detachment on 455 Victoria Street, and to bring photo ID as well as proof of ownership which could include proof of purchase showing the serial number, an itemized spreadsheet with corresponding serial numbers; or a description of a unique identifier.

Mounties say four people known to police were arrested during the investigation, and were all released pending future charge approval by the B.C. Prosecution Service.

The file remains under investigation.
